OUR PURPOSE

We are the Friends of Bandy Field Nature Park (FOBFNP)

We strive to:

  • Transform, restore and protect Bandy Field Nature Park to enhance the nature experience of park visitors.

  • Work to free every tree and to remove every invasive plant and replace them with native plants.

  • Provide habitat for native flora and fauna and to provide a place for people to experience the wonder of the natural world in an urban environment.

  • Motivate and inspire others to join forces with us, including neighbors in the vicinity of the park to adopt some of our practices and values on their properties to expand the habitat for native flora and fauna.

  • To continue our work and continue to meet our obligations, we need your help!  Donate, become a member, or volunteer.

  • FOBFNP is a private, not-for-profit organization, and is tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Federal EIN (tax ID) number 54-1904021.
